Lot of 6 Vintage Small Glass Shot Glasses Lined with Mexican Sterling Silver:

This is a set of six very small glasses decorated in sterling silver with pictures of grapes and grape leaves. Each one is marked \"Hecho en Mexico 925\" and a set of initials that, on the most clearly stamped silver, look like JDK or JDR. The word \"Mexico\" appears to be followed by the initials \"DF\" or \"CF.\" Each glass has the Mexican eagle mark with a \"1,\" indicating their origin as Mexico City. The stamps on the glasses\' bottoms are of varying depth and quality; one was overstamped by the same words after, I guess, the first stamp wasn\'t clear enough.

As far as I can determine from the rather blurry eagles, they appear to date after 1955, but they could conceivably be as early as 1948. The little glasses are slightly over 2\" high and have 1 1/4\" mouths and 1\" bases.

Because of the value and fragility of these glasses, I require insurance, which is reflected in the handling charges. This also means that I have to use Priority International Mail for foreign mailing, since I can\'t track regular First Class International.

CHECK THE ADDRESS THAT YOU SUPPLIED TO !!! I cannot stress this enough. I?d say about 1-2% of the addresses that have been given to me have been incorrect. At the very least this will slow down the receipt of your package. At the worst, your package may vanish completely.

First Class International mail is NOT trackable, and I cannot be responsible for items sent that way that do not arrive at their destinations. Please note that I have not had ANY problems with items arriving, though they sometimes show up rather late.
For items over a certain value, I insist upon Priority International Mail no matter what the size of the item. This is expensive, but it is at least trackable. I also insist upon insurance. This will hold true if an item is offer well beyond where I thought it would go and where I had initially indicated First Class International. If you\'re not willing to pay the price to ship something valuablesafely, I won\'t send it and will cancel your offer/return your money if you\'ve paid me.
I do not ship anywhere in South or Central America except Argentina and Chile.
