The cards have a copyright date of 1940, but the inscriptions written on the cards are dated between April 12, 1948 and April 16, 1948. There are 5 cards, but there must have been at least one more in the series, since the answer to the fifth card refers to the the card for the next day.
The cards feature a cute bear on each card, with a cow, a duckling, a scottie dog and another puppy, and horses involved in the individual riddles.
The cards measures about 4\" x 5\". Please see scans for condition, as they are a critical part of the description. I will attempt to point out major flaws that may not show easily, but all images have been scanned at 800 dpi, so the scans do a good job showing the check out my other listings, as I am constantly adding new items, ranging from trade cards to calling cards, French chromos to greeting and post cards.
