This is a fabulous antique piece of handmade lace. It is Maltese lace, I think those little flowers are called crosses. The lace collector needs no description. I am not sure of the function, as it is 114\" long by 14 3/4\" wide. I think you can use it as a runner or as a scarf, or lappet. I have taken photos of the entire piece, so you can examine for condition. I noted in the last photo some edge fray in one area, and you can also see it in photo 6, bottom edge. I have not laundered, so there is some slight age discoloration, I prefer to leave it to the collector.

I will carefully wrap and ship your item- from a smoke free, pet free home. Prop flowers not included.

I photograph by a window in natural daylight, so I do have some shadows on the piece--they are not stains unless I mention it.
