Large Vintage Limoges Miniature Iron.

Measures approx7.5 cm high, 4cm wide and 8cm long.

This miniature is in a very good condition and has a picture on both sides of the iron.
The lovely ironhas no chips or cracks, but it has some wear on the gilded handle.

The pictures are signed: Fragonard.

Stampedon the bottom stating \'Limoges France\"

Fragonard was an artist during the Reign of Louis XV. On request he painted 4 different scenes depicting \"The Progress of Love\" for Madam Du Barry. Fragonard was removed from the Court when Madame Du Barry didn\'t like the last painting.
