This chappie has loads of character and shows his age for sure but it would make a great Christmas gift for someone who loves the breed. I realise when putting Fox / Airedale in my title I\'ll no doubt incur the wrath of someone but I\'m not sure which one it is to be honest so apologies in lieu of your offence.It is a beautifully moulded piece of spelter, the majority of the paint is present but as you can see but there are rubs on the high points. It is quite heavy as you would expect a bookend to be, the base is metal also filled with plaster, some of that has loosened as you can see and the bolts that attach the dog to the base have moved within the plaster so that it is a bit wobbly but I\'m sure it would take too much to secure him more firmly. It stands 15cms high.
