Lovely Vintage ORNATE ITALIAN or FRENCH BRASS Aphothecary BALANCE SCALE:

This sale is for an interesting vintage scale. I don\'t know the age but have found similar on-line and some say that they are FRENCH and some say that it is ITALIAN. The only mark that I can find on it is MDCV on the arm of the scale. I don\'t believe that it could be a date as that would denote, 1515. I\'d say this is early to mid 20th century, and perhaps Apothecary. It has original patina and is a hefty nearly 10 lbs. Packed it will weigh closer to 12 in an over-sized box. At the top of the arm it measures about 18.25\'\'.
This is an \'\'as is\'\' sale due to the nature of the sale, being a used vintage and or antique.
Shipping is extra via US Priority Mail. Typically I use a foam board on the inside of the box to protect fragile items. I do take pride in my packing methods and enjoy making sure that your purchase arrives safely and intact.
