Large Native American Sterling Silver Handmade Spiny Oyster Ring. Marcus Chavez
Here is a really nice ring for sale. It is a size 13. The band measures 15/16\" wide at the top and goes down to 5/16\" at the bottom. Signed by Navajo Artist Marcus Chavez who made this by hand. He carved out the tufa cast mold and poured the silver into it. Usually you can only get one piece before the mold breaks and sometimes you can get more. Then he bent it, darkened the ring & polished the high points. It is not stamped sterling but has been tested. This is a brand new ring without tags. It is a thick and solid ring that weighs 12.8 grams. Overall this is a nice looking ring that has great eye appeal to it.
