For your consideration is a REPRODUCTION M1816 Musket Ramrod. Used with the pre-Civil War Smoothbore Musket. This is a REPRODUCTION (not original) Ramrod with a button end correct for the M1816 Musket. Can also be used with the M1795 to M1822, smoothbore muskets. Would not be correct for a rifled M1816 to M1835, musket although the ramrod could be used with that particular arm in a pinch. A nice rod, none-the-less, to compliment original and reproduction M1816 to M1822, muskets of the period. Ramrod is newly manufactured (probably within the past few years). It can also be used for display with that original musket hanging over the fireplace. The only drawback with this ramrod is that the end has not been threaded for the musket cleaning tools. Hence the lower price of similar ramrods. If you intend to use this rod for shooting, I would heartily suggest having the end opposite the ram end threaded for the cleaning worm and ball puller. Other than that drawback, the ramrod is ready for immediate use. Why use an original ramrod for shooting? Save your original and use this ramrod for shooting.Terms: PayPal or Credit Cards only.
