Up for sale is a custom made U.S. Army Infantry Officer\'s M1833 Dress Tail Coat. This would\'ve been the type used during the period of the Mexican American War. The uniform is the highest quality reproduction uniform you will ever find. It was made by the U.S. History Reenactor Supply Company (see website below). They make high quality uniforms for reenactors, Hollywood movie productions, documentaries, etc.

When you get onto their website then click on \"Site Map\" tab on top of the page. Then click on\"Mexican War Uniforms\". The website is not the most userfriendly...but they have the highest quality uniforms you\'re ever going tofind.
This uniform was very expensive to have made since it was custom madeand because of all the fancy silver thread. I paid over $1,100 for it!!! Myplan was to use it in my wife\'s 4th grade classroom every year for their\"Pioneer Day\" event (I have a picture of us in the listing).Unfortunately, the wool uniform was just too much to handle all day in a hotstuffy classroom with over 50 kids running around doing activities. Afterwearing it twice...I finally put it up for good. Here is your chance to get this uniform for less than 1/3 the original price!
This uniform would look great for a military display, costume party or reenactment event.
