Here we have an astonishing vintage Navajo black leather bowguard with a huge rectangular silver plate with intricately handcarved silver borders, silver feathers and silver patterns surrounding a large Sleeping Beauty turquoise oval! Two handcarved silver flanks accent this piece beautifully! Handmade black leather tie closure. The large silver plate measures around 3-1/2\" X 2-1/2\" and each silver flank measures about 3\" X 7/8\" The center stone measures around 1\" x 1/2\". The width of the bracelet measures around 4\". Signed by Navajo artist, Carson Blackgoat. Sterling silver, marked. Cir. 1980\'s+. The inside end to end measures around 10-1/4\". Sturdy 115 grams. Thank you and Good Luck!
