Selling is a 5 3/8\" X 4 1/4\" Vintage Original AUTOGRAPH LEAF of MARTA TOREN signed in black ink with her own hand. Affixed to the front of the AUTOGRAPH LEAF is a small newspaper clipping snipe of a short biography of MARTA TOREN. Autographsof this star are VERY RARE to find, as she diedat the early age of 31 in 1957.

From an early age MARTA TOREN\'s dream was to become an actress. Her first application for acting studies at The Royal Dramatic Theater in 1944 was unsuccessful. After additional dramatic coaching she was finally accepted in 1947. But screenwriter Edwin Blum arranged a screen test for RKO which eventually led to her being offered a contract with Universal Studios. It was a hard choice but she accepted and left her studies after one semester. In Hollywood she quickly made 10 movies, including \"Sirocco\" (1951) with HUMPHREY BOGART. From 1952 she accepted movie offers from Italy with more demanding roles. In early 1957, she went back to Sweden, her home country, for her stage debut in a play by J.B. Priestley. She died one month later suddenly, at the age of 31, of a brain hemorrhage.

On the back of this Autograph Leaf is the autograph of actor, ROBERT EMMETT KEANE.

Autograph Leaf is in Great Condition with minimal handling wear.
