style=\"text-decoration:none\" height=\"23px\" valign=\"middle\" face=\"arial\" align=\"center\" style=\"orphans: auto; text-align: start; widows: auto;\">A Magnificent Sterling Silver water pitcher made by Tiffany & Co circa 1883. The pitcher stands 9 3/4 inches tall and is just over 6 inches in diameter. The weight is an impressive 49.2 troy ounces, heavy even by Tiffany standards. The pitcher is heavily chased with a band of neo classical figures around the mid section, the base features shells and fish heads, the handle and spout with an acanthus leaf and scroll design. The chasing and all design is in very crisp and good condition. The interior still has the original gold wash and is in good condition, with minor scratches and a tiny sharp dent in the bottom approximately 1/16 of an inch long. The underside is clearly marked Sterling Silver, Tiffany & Co, 7364 MAKERS 7924, M, 6 1/2 PTS.
