 THIS BOOK IS IN NEAR FINE CONDITION

This wonderful, 125-year old, antique book set is handsomely bound dark green, oil cloth covers with impressed, bright, gold lettering on the cover and spine. The book set is in excellent condition, but has some rubbing and edge wear to the covers. The exterior of these books have no bumping. The gold lettering is bright and clean.  Both books are protected in clear, acid-free, Mylar dust jackets (see photo #4.) The interiors are in excellent condition; they are clean and the books don\'t have a mark in them. They are free of any foxing, smudging, writing, stamps, pasteboards or other markings. This is not an ex-library book set. The pages are in excellent condition. Both books have fine binding with no looseness or lean. All four hinges are fine. All tissue guards are in fine condition and are like new.
