YOUR BEST OFFER WILL BE HUMBLY CONSIDERED!!! You are viewing a very old, unique, hand-crafted c.1950/1960 MEN\'S LARGE OLD PAWN NAVAJO NATIVE-AMERICAN 925 STERLING SILVER BISBEE MINE TURQUOISE STONE RING. Because the ring is not exactly round in shape (characteristics of this ring being handcrafted and having a flat side), figuring out the size of the ring with a mandrel would give an inaccurate size. Please go by the following measurements: The inner diameter of ring is 20.5 mm across and 19 mm high. The inner circumference of ring is about 2.50 inches (63 mm). The base of shank is about .12 inches (3 mm). The measurements determine the ring size is 10.75-11. Please view all photos as they let you know what you will receive and are the primary and integral part of the description. The beveled-set turquoise stone measures about .63 inches (16mm) across and about 1.02 inches (26 mm) tall (longest point). Ring weighs about 10 grams. Like several Native American pieces made long ago, this ringhas no silversmith mark or hallmark, but guaranteed to be 925 sterling silver. There may be markings under the dark patina, but I don\'t know for sure. As you can see, the turquoise piece was fracture-sealed with resin to harden the matrix, (a common practice in the use of turquoise for Native American jewelry) due to the crumbling effects of the mineral composite. Bisbee turquoise stones are one of the most valued turquoise for its hardness, quality and scarcity. These stones are known and favored for, not only their unique beauty and color, but for the heavy matrices (host rock). The Bisbee mine has been closed since the mid 70\'s, and not much turquoise was produced from that mine, as it was mainly a copper mine. So, to begin with, the Bisbee turquoise was in short supply from the get-go. The Bisbee turquoise is a true rarity! Don\'t let this beauty get away!
