This is an interesting Staffordshire figurine group of Napoleon III & Prince Albert of which:
During our research we have been informed it certainlydates from the mid 19th century.

Text of: Albert & Napoleon III. Dates c1854. To the left stands Napoleon, in kepi, (French soldiers straight-peaked cap) to the right stands Albert, in cocked hat. Between them are two Flags, a wall containing a gun emplacement and a heap of shells.
Wonderful colouring and facial detailing.
Mounted onto the decorative base.
It has an overall height of about 7inches.
Max size of the hollowed base of about 3.5 x 1.75inches.
Condition: Considering the age: the overall condition is good and is subject to a large chip to the top of the Flag above Albert.
A small chip to the tip of the other Flag.
With todays modern & advanced restoration techniques, can certainly be improved.

Besides being a very collectable, mid 19th century Staffordshire figurine group of Napoleon III & Prince Albert, with the Flags, mounted on the decorative base, c1854, would also look fabulous displayed.
