This spectacular desk lamp is a brass and aluminum design from Italy.
Reminiscent of designs by Gino Sarfatti, this lamp cuts a sleek
and minimalist profile, but with very rich materials - mirror polished
brass and enameled aluminum.This lamp has the unusual double switch set up. This allowed
the user to switch the lamp on or off via the shade or the base.
This was done so a user wouldn\'t have to touch a hot lamp
shade and could turn the lamp off via the base when in use.This lamp is in great condition. There are a couple tiny paint chips and a minor
ding to the shade. Brass is near perfection - displays beautifully.
The lamp hardly shows its age at all. A true mid century treasure!A wonderful addition to your NY penthouse, office or the den
