MINIATURE BOOK STERLING SILVER POETICAL WORKS OF ALFRED LORD TENNYSON POETRY:

This is for a lovely original old Edwardian miniature book with a sterling silver cover embossed with an imageof the poet Tennyson. The silver is also embossed with the dates \'Born 1809, Died 1892\' and is clearly hallmarked dating it to London 1905. The title page reads \'Poetical Works of Alfred Lord Tennyson\' and it was printed by Eyre & Spottiswoode \'His Majesty\'s Printers\'. The silver is marked with the silversmiths WC for William Comyns and the leather spine is embossed \'Tennysons Poetical Works\'. It is invery good condition with only the very light wear you see to the outside,the pages are clean and sit flat with their original gilding to the edges, it has been used, but overall, its very good. It measures 57mm (2.25\") by 47mm (1.75\") with1035 pages.I have other prayer books, miniature Bibles and religious books for sale this week so please check them out as well as all the other vintage gentlemans & ladies accessories.
