Modern 20th Century Stuart Devlin Solid Silver gilt surprise egg with textured surface, opening to reveal a silver-gilt sprung jumping frog on an enameled lily pad. The piece comes in its original leather bound case lined in red velvet and with the original guarantee signed by the artist certifying that "This piece is No. 49 of a limited edition of 300 pieces" and with the explanation of the hallmarks. Perfect conditions, heavy gauge, a real collectable piece. Hallmarked English Silver (925 Standard), London, year 1978 (D), Maker's mark S.D (Stuart Devlin), one of the greatest modern silversmiths.
