Montblanc, Patron of the Arts Series, Alexander the Great, a limited edition fountain pen, no. 101/4810, issued in 1998, the black marbled lacquer with gold plated cap set a band of anthemion motifs, the Fine (F) nib stamped 750, with a piston filling system, uninked, in original box, with service certificate, slip cover and outer packaging.This pen honors Alexander the Great, the philosopher-king of the classical Golden Age, who extended the Greek Empire toward Asia. Crafted of black marbled lacquer with golden veins,
with 18 karat gold-plated endpiece and cap decorated in intricate black enamel inlay. This pen is in excellent condition a part from some light signs on the cap (can be easily removed with a polishing).Complete with white outer cardboard sleeve, outer box, wooden display box, International Service Certificate.
