My Father while stationed at Tachikawa AFB station, Japan, purchased this incredibly beautiful painting for my Mother from a Japanese painter artist from Tokyo that would peddle his paintings to US military men and women. We were living in the Base Paddy Housing of Kanto Mura, Japan at the time, the year was 1963\'.This incredible painting depicts World Famous Landmark, Mount Fuji, Fujiyama. Painted in 1963\' with the Original solid hardwood black lacquer frame. The original layered back boards, the original parchment paper backing as well. The painting is of oil paint on a silk canvas. The painting has the Original string hanger. The painting is signed by the Artist (please see pictures). This painting is Worth a Fortune and offered here for a very low price ;)Japanese silk paintings have been popular for many years, not only throughout the country of Japan, but also in other countries where Oriental decor is used to decorate ones Home Interior.
