We are very excited to be listing an incredible Estate Collection of Russian Hand Painted Lacquer Boxes. This is the finest collection of Russian Boxes I have personally seen with some absolutely stunning examples, all being sold with S ! The Lady who owned these Boxes collected them many years ago and I am told paid some very substantial amounts for many of them. Be sure to check all our other sales for more Boxes and save greatly with combined shipping.

This Russian Hand Painted Lacquer Box is one of the finest I have ever personally seen and I would judge of Museum quality. The Box is incredibly finely hand painted throughout, witha magnifying glass you can see the tiny brush strokes. The Woman\'s face is truly breathtaking with her piercing eyes. The Woman\'s Dress and Head Dress are also adorned with Rich Gold Gilding which you only find on the finest quality examples. The Box is fully artist signed as seen in the photos and well worth looking into further asI am told this boxwould be about 25-35 years old. The Box is in excellent all original condition with no damage, just some minor crazing lines which in no way affect the beauty and as you would want to find on an untouched box of this age. The Box is also a nice Larger size measuring 5-3/4\" by 4-1/4\" and sitting 2\" tall with a great footed base and sturdy hinge. The Box is so much more impressive and beautiful than my photos can show and I am sure the new owner will be most impressed. This Box is also of investment quality.
