.MUSEUM QUALITY TEXTILE. I BELIEVE MADE IN ITALY or france. I CAN NOT FIND A FLAW, I HAVE SEARCHED AND SEARCHED AND CANNOT SPOT ONE within this huge work of textile artistry.The needlework is a beige colorwayand the silk (this is an educated guess there is no way of telling definitvely)macrome is white. The fringe is lush and the same color as the macrame. It is a fabulous size, big measuring ....it drapes all over the floor on my standard size bed. the hand work is meticulous and mind boggling....tiny tiny fragile and delicatebeige needle work is set against what I believe is white silk macrame work.with pointyric racthat is in contrast withfancy designs. The pic on the bed does not have any dark lines it\'s the shadow of the folds you see....The fringe, itself is a silky work of art and in elegant condition being free of knots or tangles....the tassel condition itself is rare in that the tassels are perfectly formed and themselves perfect.. The head board side of course has no fringe My pics do not do justice to this textile work of art...The time making it is astounding. buyer pays ship and handling which includes insurance.
