A wonderful Desert serving set consisting of two serving spoons and a fabulous sugar sifting spoon.Made from English sterling silver the bowls retain their lavish gilding, and intricate engraved decoration. The terminals to all three pieces retain a highly decorative monogram, looks to read C A.The two spoons are both hallmarked for London 1782 with the makers initials for Charles Hougham; the central sugar sifting spoon is hallmarked for London 1797 by his brother, Soloman Hougham.The set sites in a wonderful silk and velvet lined presentation box which measures 8 3/4\" x 5 1/4\".
