Magnificent antique Victorian gold gilt over sterling silver carved lava bracelet. The bracelet was made in Paris, France and has the hallmark of Louis Piret.We are not able to identify some of the other markings but the bracelet tests as Sterling Silver. The lava cameo is done in high-relief and is beautifully carved with great attention to detail. The bracelet measures 6 -7/8\" long and fastens with a tongue in groove clasp. The band of the bracelet is 9/16\" wide. The cameo is large, measuring 1 - 1/2\" by 1 - 1/4\". Weight is a substantial 44 grams. There is a crack in the top part of the cameo which is barely noticeable and the cameo is secure in its setting; otherwise, this superb piece is in very good condition.Please view the pictures carefully as they are part of the description.All of our items come to you nicely gift boxed and shipping is free.
