A majestic, monumental pair of Belle Epoque era French sterling silver 6-light candelabra, with exuberant Louis XV rococo styling. These exceptional quality cast and chased candelabra are raised on spreading acanthus scroll feet, with twist fluted domed bases and stems richly decorated with borders of finely detailed rocaille and scroll motifs, and dramatic acanthus clad double scroll arms. The pieces are not weighed, nor monogrammed. Meticulously hand crafted from the highest quality silver, and weighing a remarkable 7247 grams, each candelabrum is appropriately stamped on body, base, arms and detachable nozzles with the French Minerve 1st standard silver mark (.950), and carry the maker\'s mark for Parisian silversmith Alphonse GOMBERT, active 1896-1913.bCondition is excellent with just light signs of use commensurate with age to note.
