This Marx Superman GOLD Rollover Tank is a one owner toy! It\'s stunningly beautiful. As a child, my father envied Superman. He begged his parents for anything Superman related. This was a birthday gift for my father from a family friend. He loved to display his toys as if he lived in a toy store. He really loved this toy, and loved to tell people about it. In fact, it was even in my fathers Will before he passed away. Prior to my fathers death, Superman sat behind a glass case in my fathers dining room next to his decorative glassware. This tank would make a great display item for any savvy collector. The tank winds nicely and it moves very fast. However, it has a difficult time flipping. Also on one side of the tank is not closing properly. Someone handy will easily be able to make the repair. The tank is not perfect but the graphics are bright and vibrant. Superman does have some bump and bruises, but it\'s still an amazing piece of Americana. It measures 4 inches long, about 2.5 inches wide, and about 2.5 tall. I would really like to find a good home for Superman, and carry on his standard of living. All money from this sale will go to a charity that helps find forever homes for abandoned and neglected dogs. My fathers name was Matthew Burns of Indianapolis.
