Massiveold pawn sterling silver bracelet with gorgeous turquoise.

Big, bold, sturdy old pawn bracelet with a huge turquoise center piece. The unknown artist picked a beautiful light blue turquoise cab to build their bracelet around and the end product is stunning. They used five thick (5 mm) half round wiresthat are caped at the terminalsplus a heavy thick backing plate to mount the cab on. There is absolutely no movement or twisting that could take place that would crack the stone, something to remember when buying lesser quality jewelry. The silver band was added when it was being made, whether it is for decoration, or an existing crack I can\'t tell. There are some stress linesin the cab, most likely there from the beginning, as I see no signs it happened after it was made.

The stone is a beauty. It is a sky blue, and actually looks like it has clouds floating across it, or a wave effect on water. Not 100% sure of the mine, Royston Royal Blue comes to mind, or the old Super X both of which are closed and long gone. It\'s an incredible 2 3/4\" x 2\" and probably around 200 carats.

Inside measurement is 5 15/16\" gap 1 1/2\" for a total of 7 1/4 \" weight 156.6 g or5.52 oz. Should only be adjusted by a professional at your own risk.
