This circa1920\'s fourteen karat (acid tests a) yellow goldMasonic fob measures just over one inch in length by three-quarter inch in width.This fob consists of a tri-fold style construction.The front panel displays the double headed Scottish Rite emblem with a sword in the talons and a curving bannerthat reads \"Spes Mea in Deo Est.\" Bezel set and centered on the eagle is an old mine cut diamond withan estimatedweight of 17/100 carat. The diamond color averages H-I while the clarity isSI2.The inner portion of this panel is engraved with \"Our President Edward Wildon Young\".The middle panel consists of a four sided cross with red guilloche enamel. Centered on the cross is a circular shape blue enamelPrince of Jerusalem design with balancing scales and a sword. The red enamel towards the top of this panel is worn/missing. The reverse of this cross has similar red guilloche enamel with a blue and white center featuring a swan and crown. Engraved on the four ends of this cross is \"Wash. Chap. Rose Croix No. 1, Lawson Consistory No 1, Wash. Council Kadosh (?) No 1, Wash. Lodge Perfection No 1\".Theback panel has a Knights Templar red slanted cross and a raised crown in the center.This is framed with a white circular enamel border that reads \"In Hoc Signo Vinces.\" The interior of this panel features a Royal Arch Keystone finished in white enamel. The circular center is accented withblack enamel andreads KSHTWSST. Engraved around the arms of the panel is \"Seattle Council No. 6, Seattle Com\'Dry No. 2 K.T., ST. John\'s Lodge No. 9, Oriental Chap No. 19\". There is some loss and/or wear to the enameled details. The top of this fob/pendant is triangular in shape with black enamel. Located on one side of this triangle isa yod while the number 32 is found on the opposing side. Joining the triangle is an oval shape bail. This Masonicpiece would make an excellent fob for a period watch chain or pendant to be worn on a necklace.Weighs a solid 14 grams of gold.
