I have handled literally hundreds and hundreds of teapots and I have never come across one like this! This is a beast! Holding approximately 16 cups of your favorite hot tea. Made by Gibsons in England it is made with the dark bisque pottery that made these brown Betty style teapots so famous. Excellent for heat retention, beautiful and extremely robust. It has a brilliant color band around the top and is in very good overall antique condition. It does have a small chip around the rim and chips on the underside of the spout and the handle seems a little loose on the bottom, it is not broken and has not been repaired. Please take a good look at the photos and make certain that this huge teapot is suitable for you. Thanks!
