Item No : #325482 Item : Maru Obi History : vintage Condition : very good Fabric : silk Technique : weave Size(width) : 31cm 12 1/4\" Length : 406cm 159 3/4\" Weight : 1.54kg This is a vintage Maru Obi with wave, \'matsu\'(pine tree), \'kiku\'(chrysanthemum), \'ume\'(Japanese plum) and \'tachibana\'(mandarin orange) patterns, which are woven.
Its bold design of vintage is attractive.
Silver foil threads woven on the patterns are elegantly shining. Textile is exquisite silk and has soft touch.
Otaiko part is set upside down, and it\'s to be tied in \'hikinuki\' style. Slight, yet largish stain can be seen between circle and square mark, although it\'s not mentioned on the sheet and picture.
It has discoloration and patinas overall.
Threads of overall edges are frayed in some parts.
There are a couple of other flaws.
Please check detail photos. This item can\'t be tied, because fabric is weak.
