\"A book of verses under the bough, a jug of wine, a loaf of bread - and thou.\" by Omar Khayam inspired Maxfield Parish to paint \"The Rubaiyat.\" This amazing work of art was created by Maxfield Parrish (1870-1966) who is arguably one of America\'s most successful and beloved artists. His drawings and paintings graced the covers of Harper\'s Weekly, Scibners, Life, Century, and many more. There are few prints that he made that are more highly sought after than an original Rubaiyat. The bottom corner is signed \"c. 1917 C.A. Crane, Cleveland\" as it was printed for C.A. Crane Candy company who were the inventors of the Lifesaver candy brand. There is some damage to the print. However, there is no damage to the frame. An amazing addition for collectors and American art enthusiasts alike!
