DESCRIPTION:

Simply adorable and bursting with Mid Century \"cool\" is this true vintage Penguin Ice Bucket / Hot & Cold Food Server from West Bend. Made in Wisconsin, USA in the 50s - 60s. A swank addition to your bar setup! Sparkling cool chrome exterior with dark brown Bakelite lid knob and handles in a wonderful Art Deco stepped design. Stainless steel interiors. This much-loved server was first patented in the mid-1940s, and soared in popularity in the 50s and 60s. Today, people still love to use them for ice (of course!), and keeping warm anything from rolls and rice, to soups and cookies and muffins! The possibilities are endless.

DIMENSIONS/SIZE:

Bucket is about 6\" tall to rim; 8-1/2\" tall to top of lid knob. Bucket is about 8\" wide, not including the handles. Inner rim of bucket is 6\" wide. Depth of inside area is about 4-1/2\".

CONDITION:

Very good vintage condition. Some wear and scratches to the chrome, as expected with an item about 60 years old. Lid knob has some wear areas to the finish. Bottom has a dented area that cannot be seen when the server is just sitting on a table; the dent is exactly 2 inches long. Please zoom in on all photos. From a non-smoking home.
