A lovely flimsy veil, made from translucent pure silk. It also has an opalescent quality in certain lights. Tiny rolled hems, lightly hand-stitched. Suits many medieval variations of period garb for women, where it was not appropriate for women to go bare-headed. Even in the later years, a veil was still incorporated into the outfit, even though not covering much of the head.Wear it on its own, wrapped around the neck as well as the head, or with a circlet as in the photo, or perhaps one made of flowers(The circlet in the photo is sold separately.)Measurements:approx 88cm x 88cmPlease note: The pics form part of the description.
