Description

Here for sale is a vintage circa 1920s-1930s handmade diamond and ruby buckle band ring. This style was popoular during this era, for both men and women, and this ring could be worn by either, as it\'s not super chunky. It is a size 10, and it looks to maybe have been sized once already.

The center of the \"buckle\" is a white gold square set with a chunky old European diamond, measuring 3.8 x 2.25 mm (.21 ct). The square makes the diamond look larger than it is, to the eye. It is very nice quality, graded as H color and SI1 clarity, by our experienced estate jeweler. Offset on one side of the diamond, is an emerald-cut ruby (probably lab created, as was common for the time period). The mounting has impressed flowers on one side, and a hand-tooled \"dots\" design on the side with the ruby.

The face of this ring measures 7/16\" top to bottom. It is hallmarked 14K, and there is a mark on the INSIDE of the band where it was probably sized. It is a size 10, and can be sized by any competent jeweler. It weighs 6.8 grams and is in excellent vintage condition.

This ring is sure to be noticed on the hand!
