Product Description: This o-ring style gasket is located between thepower steering fluid reservoir and the power steering pump of many Mercedes Benz applications from 1993 - 2010. It\'s a common culprit if you notice a fluid leak in the area between the fluid reservoir and pump. The old gasket typically becomes hard and brittle over time, giving rise to leaks. As shown in the photos, the gasket dimensions are: 20.5mm (OD)x 15.5mm (ID) x 4.0mm (thickness). Photo #s 6 & 7 show the location on the reservoir where the o-ring will be installed. Note, this listing is for the o-ring only -- the reservoir is NOT included.

Tech Notes: This gasket fits on the metal nipple of the power steering pump, where it connects to the reservoir (at the lower, rear portion of the reservoir - see photo #s 6 and 7 in this listing).There is a \"circlip\" which secures the connection. To separate the reservoir from the pump to replace the gasket, that clip needs to be removed and reinstalled. No sealant is necessary when installing the new gasket. Be sure the connecting junction is clean and free of any debris prior to installation.
