pansypoo LOVES estate sales, house tours w/ shopping. ok ok, the houses are usually not the nest decor or a pigsty, but i like checking out old houses, well, this year has been TERRIBLE. i have only done a few since january + i can usually find 1 a week. last weekend my favorite company had a sale a bit north on the east side. actually close, TWO BLOCKS away from my uncle\'s house. a lot of Hasidic. this sale WAS JEWISH. no menorahs. TIME travel. i expected somebody from the brady bunch come over to play. SO SO eames/60\'s! the house tho was too late or odd to document. the 50\'s carpet looked better on-line. found way more to list. i wanted to go because i needed a mid-century chair for the 1950\'s kitchen table set. they had 3 types to choose from. alas, my 1st choice gone, 2nd not comfy, 3rd choice eames set i also assumed sold as a set. my search continues.i saw this on the midcentury display cabinet/book shelfs/fireplace surround. my aunt has a art glass/art pottery collection & thought she might like it. i liked it. alas, she turned her nose at it. too big i bet. maybe if it had been green or redder.
