amazing pair of danish modern accent chairs by talented designer Arne Hovmand Olsen. Outstanding in both design and quality. This shell back style is a staple of his work. Another feature of this set is that each chair has a handle on the back of each piece as well as teak veneer over the shell back. this set is circa early 1960s. marked Denmark #96 to both pieces. These pieces were just reupholstered in a light muted pastels (blue, reds and aqua colors). This set is perfect for any mid century modern home or danish modern space.
