Beauty! Offered is a Mid Century studio ceramic stoneware low bowl. A fabulous hand made piece by Marshall Studios ca.1950\'s...the dynamic husband and wife team of Gordon Martz and Jane Marshall. Simple modernist form, beautifully crafted, wonderfully textured with incising and a glaze pattern in concentric rings rendered in highly nuanced shades of brown. This has a design # P156...which would indicate a production piece ...however the signature is unusual for a production piece... signed G Martz...which would indicate Gordan Martz\'s own hand...love it! Dimensions: LARGE...12 5/8\" round x 2 1/2\" high...substantial weighing 5 lbs. In excellent vintage condition. A Rare signature....a perfect addition to any Marshall Studios collection!
