A very good quality solid silver engine turned Royal Marine cigarette case. It is hallmarked for London 1938. It has the Marines insignia on the front.

Hallmarks: The cigarette case is English sterling silver hallmarked for London 1938 ( Lion Passant, Leopard Head. Date Letter \'C\'). The maker\'s mark \'S J R \' refers to the Winchester silversmith S J Ross.

Dimensions: It is 11.5cm high, and 8.5cm wide. It weighs 172.6g.

Condition: The case is in very good condition, with no dings, splits or repairs. The engine turning is a little dirty.
