This is fora fabulous Austrian Victorian double travelling inkwell and pen wipe in theform of a trunk circa 1880. It has its original leather cover and brass handles.It has a button on the front that releases the lid and inside are two inkwelllevers that flip open hinged lids to reveal the original glass inkwells inside.In between these inkwellsis the brush wipe for pen nibs.The glassbottlesare removable and under the lids arespring loaded stoppersto seal them whilst in transit (one stopper is a replacement). The brass insideis nicely engraved over the top surfaces and the two levers are marked KKPRIValong with a double headed eagle mark used by Austria. Overall it is in superbcondition, there is no loss of leather, it has no dents, and its all goodinside, both inkwells pop open and close properly, all the catches & leversare working and there are no cracks to the glass bottles.The basemeasures 75mm by 45mm and it stands 35mm (1.5\") high
