Made by Minton in England for TIFFANY this PATE SUR PATE PLATE is signed \"HS\" by Henry Sanders. Henry Sanders was a wonderfully talented porcelain artist who produced wares for many English potteries including Minton and Moore Brothers. ThePlate measures 9-5/8\" wide.
This plate was made inEngland and imported to the U.S. to be retailed through Tiffany & Co. in New York.The pate-sur-pate medallion is exquisite and is set off and framed beautifully by the cobalt blue ground. The Greek Keygold border finishesand frames the medallion. The plate comes with the original metal hanger on its back. On its front it is initialed \"HS\" below the pate-sur-pate figure and marked on its back \"Tiffany & Co.\" and \"New York\" (under the metal frame).
The condition is very good with some crazing which is commonin ceramic glazes of this age.
