Austrian M1861 Infantry Officer\'s Sword.measures 38.25\" overall,with a very nice, clean 32\" unmarked slightly curved blade.The hilt has tarnishing to metal surface and shows areas ofheavy wear to plating. The grips are wire wrapped leather,that also show wear & age.Metal scabbard is included. It too shows age & wear, along witha few shallow dents & spots of corrosion.Many of this type were imported to U.S. during civil war.
