Model Airplane F-18 Hand Carved Mahogany Beautiful High Gloss Finish. This is an artistic replica of the F18 JET Aircraft currently in use by the US Navy. The model was hand carved in Vietnam. It is made primarily from mahogany wood that is finished with a high gloss lacquer that gives it a warm brown color. This model makes a great desk top decorator piece. Each part was shaped and glued into place. This model should not be used as a child\'s toy as it cannot stand physical stress. Plane taken out for detail photo\'s only. Some assembly is required. The pictures show the two wings that slide on metal pins into the body of the plane. The assembled aircraft sits on top of a wooden pedestal that is included.
