PRISM is a napping size throw quilt that will bring a pop of color and drama to yourhome. The fabrics in the blocks arearranged from light to dark, creating a 3-D illusion. The fabrics are from Hoffman Bali Pops Batikcollection in a progression of color – pink, red, yellow, orange, purple, greenand blue. A pieced purple border framesthe edges. The green background fabric,Kona solid “Clover,” really makes the other colors vibrate. The back of the quilt is a black and whiteprint called “Paddle” from designer Lotta Jansdotter.

Freemotion quilting provides the last design element to help reinforce the illusionof depth in the blocks. For the prism sections of the quilt, I used a quiltingpattern called “Merged Lines” illustrated by Angela Walters in one of herbooks. Straight line echo quiltingcompletes the green background and border.

Thesize, 51” x 64”, is perfect for napping on the couch or folded across the base ofthe bed for an extra layer of warmth on a cold night. This quilt would make a fantastic picnic,concert or living room snuggling quilt as well.All fabrics are 100% cotton.Batting is Quilter’s Dream unbleached low loft 100% cotton for a softfeel and lovely drape. The binding, KonaSolid “Crocus” is attached securely by machine to ensure durability in use andwashing. The quilt has been machine washed and dried to give it that greatcrinkle texture.

Care:Machine wash in warm or cold water. Tumble dry, moderate heat.
