The style you want with the protection you need. These Blake Stretch jeans from Route One tick the boxes for looks, protection, and price. They look like regular jeans but provide much more protection, which is what you need as a motorcycle rider. They are made from a stretch denim which gives maximum comfort, but key areas are lined witih 100 percent DuPont Kevlar fibre twill for abrasion resistance in the event of an accident. No expense has been spared in the production of the Blakes, even down to the world-renowned YKK zips on the flies and jacket connecting zip. Route One have put their mark on them too with the often seen leather badge on the rear on the jeans and a branded button at the front.
Protection has not been compromised: As well as the abrasion resistance from the denim and Kevlar, Route One has pre-fitted the Blakes with adjustable CE armour at the knees. The fact they are pre-fitted means that the jeans sit much more comfortably on your legs and give an improved fit. If that doesn't seem like enough, you can upgrade them with hip armour, available separately, thanks to the thoughtfully added hip armour pockets. Overall these are a great pair of budget motorcycle jeans for cruisers and urban riders. The Route One Blake Stretch jeans are available in both black and blue. This is the black option.
