This Mickey Mouse Movie-Jecktor is in excellent physical and working condition.
It is all original and complete, although the power cord may be newer.
Other Mickey Mouse Movie-Jecktor models were made during the total production period of about 1929 through 1935,butI believe this isthe most rare.
In 1935, the Movie-Jecktor company was foundguilty ofpatent infringement, having designed their projector after the NIC ProjectorCorporation models. The total award in the case was only about $25,000. There was no subsequent civil case, as Mickey was prone to embarrassing himself in movies anyway.

The glossy black finish and the vibrant decals are all original. Perhaps even the light bulb.
It is fairly easy to use, but today a kid would be bored with it within two minutes.
It\'s us old folks who are fascinated by the history, the creativity, the skillful production, the appreciation of modest entertainment, etc.who findthis little time capsule so compelling. . . Oh, if we could just be a kid again today so that we could be bored with it in maybe even less than two minutes.
Some of the film rolls are in excellent condition, some aren\'t, but with a little nursing I believe all could work. There\'s Paul Revere, Treasure Island, Buffalo Bill, Byrd at the South Pole, When We Were Very Young, Captain Easy and Miracles of Sport.
There\'s also a Hansel and Gretel film which I loaded into the projector and set up in a dark room for operation. Much to my delight I learned that the brother and sister duo once again outwitted the old witch. And also, that the projector worked very well. It seems that the focal length is about three feet, at which point the image became rather clear. Quite a fascinating contraption.
