YOU WILL NOT FIND ANOTHER!This is a magnificent necklace, worthy of the finest collection of antique jewels. The piece is truly superb with great drama and style. It features the most beautiful Victorian silver work with beading and chain links and a spectacular pendant drop. What makes this necklace so extraordinary are the use of the incredible natural amber cabochons. The amber is gorgeous - it really does not get better than this with wonderful clarity and interesting inclusions throughout. The abundant use of the amber with the sterling silver is absolutely magnificent and is worthy of the fine jewelry collections in the Victoria and Albert Museum in London and at the Museum of Fine Arts in Boston.The necklace is in magnificent condition. There is no damage to the silver. The amber is all in excellent condition with no cracks. The necklace is 16 1/2 inches (42 cm) long. The section with the amber cabochons is 7 inches (18 cm) wide and the pendant portion hangs down 8 cm from the chain. The largest amber is 22 mm long and 16 mm wide. The necklace weighs 38.7 grams. The amber all appears to be original to the piece. This is a superb estate jewel, one with great drama and style, and so very hard to find in today\'s market! It is so immensely wearable either during the day or at the most glamorous affair. Treat yourself or a loved one to a treasure to cherish for generations and one which will only increase in value over time! In a fine antique jewelry store this would be approximately $6500!
