This adorable porcelain figurine set is a product of NAO. NAO is a brand of the Lladro group, whose pieces are distinguished by the simplicity of their forms and the lighthearted nature of their subjects. All NAO pieces are created by a team of sculptors at the City of Porcelain in the town of Xirivella, in Valencia, Spain. This set features a standing duck/duckling that measures approximately 3” in height by 4 ½” in width and is stamped on the base with the brown NAO logo and the words, “NAO Handmade in Spain by Lladro Daisa 1982”. The second figurine features two laying ducks/ducklings that measures approximately 2 ¼” in height by 4 ¼” in width and is stamped on the base with the brown NAO logo and the words, “NAO Handmade in Spain by Lladro”. Both pieces are in excellent condition with no chips, cracks, crazing, discolorations or any other evidence of damage. They are a delightful set of figurines with subtle tan hues on the webbed feet and bills, a soft and polished finish and exceptional artistry.
