Thisadorable porcelain figurine is a product of NAO. NAO is a brand of theLladro group, whose pieces are distinguished by the simplicity of their formsand the lighthearted nature of their subjects. All NAO pieces are createdby a team of sculptors at the City of Porcelain in the town of Xirivella, inValencia, Spain. Measuring approximately 8” in height, this delightfulfigurine features a girl, dressed in a white night dress and holding a lantern,with a cute little gray and white dog by her side. Retired from the NAOcollection, this piece was issued in 1989 and designed by sculptor, Juan Huerta.It is marked on the base with the brown NAO stamp that reads, “NAO Hand Made inSpain by Lladro Daisa 1989”. It is in excellent condition with no chips,cracks, crazing, discolorations or any other evidence of damage or flaws.This is a quality piece of Lladro porcelain skillfully sculpted with subtlehues of color, a soft and polished finish and exceptional artistry.
