The buckle\'s measurement is 2 & 15/16\" long by almost 1 & 15/16\" wide at the widest. The swivel crossbar on the back can handle a belt that is 1\" wide. The buckle is not marked STERLING, but it is signed WA conjoined, see 3rd photo. I looked on page 20 of Wright\'s HALLMARKS OF THE SOUTHWEST, to find this NAVAJO silversmith, WILBUR ANDERSON. I guarantee that this is as described. My price is $233.99
